UniGames (aka UniSport Nationals) is BACK, and this year we’re heading to Perth! Held from 26 September-2 October, it’s a week-long tournament where uni teams from across Australia compete, hang out, and (let’s be honest) have a very fun time doing it.

Who can play?
To be eligible, you need to be an ANU student at any point during the 2026 calendar year. That includes exchange students and students graduating after Semester 1. You also don’t need to be playing with ANUWFC to join, so if you’ve got mates at ANU who are keen, feel free to forward them this!

Who’s running the show?
We’ve got an elite duo leading UniGames this year:
Coach: Amelia Sounantha (Div 2 Coach)
Team Manager: Charlotte Blundell (Player, Registrar & Player Welfare Officer)

You’re in very good hands.

Trials
We’ll be running 2-3 trial sessions in May at ANU fields, with the team finalised by 24 May. More on times, dates, and locations to come, but keep your schedules flexible

Costs (brace yourselves)
Tragically, nothing in life is free so here’s a rough guide:

  • Accommodation for 6 nights (27 Sept-3 Oct): ~$500 (Organised by ANU Sport at Adina Apartments & Quest East Perth - all athletes are expected to stay onsite)

  • ANU Sport registration: $85

  • UniSport registration: $240 (or $290 if late)

  • Flights: ~$800 return (book early if you can!)

 Total estimate: ~$1,625 per player

Key deadlines
We’re working on a tight timeline, so keep these in mind:

  • Team list to ANU Sport: 31 May

  • ANU Sport registration: 26 July

  • UniSport registration: 9 August

If you’re keen but worried about deadlines, reach out. We’ll do what we can to help.

Questions?
Hit up Amelia or Charlotte:
Amelia 0478 130 696 or e.sounantha@gmail.com
Charlotte 0406 312 471 or cblundell1596@gmail.com

This is always one of the highlights of the year for uni students, so we highly recommend getting around it if you’re even slightly tempted!

Keen?
Fill out the expression of interest, and we'll be in touch!
