Coaching the ANU Women’s Football Club NPL team isn’t just an opportunity to guide talented players – it’s a chance to make a genuine impact in the development of women’s football in Canberra.

You’ll be leading a driven group of athletes who are committed to giving their best on and off the field, each with unique skills and stories to share. This is your opportunity to shape their football journeys, support their growth as players and individuals, and build a legacy within a highly respected community club that values player development as much as results.

While the roles won't be the best paid ones you've ever had, the rewards go far beyond the material. Coaching our NPLW team allows you to be part of a dynamic footballing environment, rich in camaraderie, shared challenges, and collective victories.

You’ll have the freedom to implement your vision, experiment with tactics, and cultivate a cohesive team ethos, all while working within the supportive framework of ANUWFC’s established sporting community. The friendships, trust, and respect you’ll gain are priceless, as is the satisfaction of contributing to the broader mission of empowering women through sport.

This positions also offer significant professional development. Whether you’re an aspiring coach looking to build a portfolio or an experienced one seeking meaningful involvement with women’s football, ANUWFC provides a respected platform to refine your coaching skills. You’ll gain exposure to high-level competition, network with others in the local football community, and grow as a leader in a uniquely supportive setting.

If you’re looking to make a genuine difference in women’s sports while nurturing your own growth as a coach, our NPLW team is ready for you to lead the way.

What's involved?

Our NPLW squad trains twice a week (90 mins on Tuesday, and 90 mins on Thursday), and matches are played on Sundays. The 2025 NPLW season will run from the beginning of April to the end of August.
