ANU Women’s Football Club is the oldest women's football club in the ACT, established in 1978 by a bunch of ANU staff who decided to create a female football club. We have been led by women and for women since our inception, and we have been participating in ACT state league community competitions for over 43 years!
We are focused in providing a fun and friendly atmosphere for players, of all ages and abilities, to participate in football and develop their game. We are a community club open to all and you don't need to be an ANU student to join us!
In 2021, we have 11 teams representing the club in all 6 ACT State League divisions.
We are always welcoming new players to the club and if you would like to join please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
Our training sessions are held at Willows Oval and Fellows Oval on ANU campus, on Tuesdays and Thursdays (free parking on site). All ANUWFC teams have a coach-led training sessions on these two days so training is split into 90 minute slots and alternate between 6pm – 7:30pm and 7:30pm – 9pm.
