COVID-19 and 2020 Season Reboot

Stay safe!

Coaches will organise their players' attendance to practice as there's a limit of 20 people per half a field (including the coach).

To adhere to this, ANUWFC has revised the club training schedule. This updated schedule can be found in the Return to Play document. Trainings will still be on:

  • Tuesday and Thursday evenings and will either be from 6-7:15pm sharp or 7:45-9pm sharp.

Remain in contact with your coaches as they will be ensuring that the number of players in your team at training does not exceed 20 people.

When players attend training, they must adhere to the following steps outlined in our Return to Play plan.

Prior to Training:

  1. Players will be asked to come in no more than 15 minutes prior to your session wearing all equipment needed (soccer boots, shin pads etc.) and to leave shortly after practice. That means no hanging around/socialising before or after practice on or around fields.

  2. Upon arrival, players must access this google form here, to mark your attendance online. This is necessary for contact tracing purposes every practice session. This form can also be found on our FB page.

  3. After completing the form, hand sanitiser bottles will be provided for you to use before entering the field and on exiting the field.

During training:

  • There will be no contact, and you and your teammates will be 1.5m apart at all times. That means no tackles, no games, and no person to person contact.

  • Equipment (such as bibs) will not be shared and drills will be modified to adhere to this.

Trials applications for 2020 have closed.

ANUWFC’s 2020 Trials begin on Tuesday 4th of February, and will then be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. They will be located at Willows Oval (Divs 1-3) and Fellows Oval (Divs 4-6) until further notice. Please continue to check our Facebook page and website for updates on trial locations as they may change due to weather, availability etc. Trials will continue until early March, at which point the teams will be selected and preseason will commence. If you are interested in playing for ANUWFC you must attend as many trials as possible and put in your best effort. Please remember to bring shin pads!

Before attending trials you will need to register by completing the signup form (button above).
